 Danny Thomason was born in Hampton, Arkansas. Attending college at Southern Arkansas University, he obtained a teaching degree in biology. Danny taught school for five years in Hot Springs and then decided to return to school to become an optometrist. Dr. Thomason attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis and then set up practice in Little Rock, where he has been for the last twenty-eight years. Danny also does a little acting. Of particular note, television fans may remember him as Reggie Mac Dawson on Designing Women and Rudy on Hearts Afire. A musician and published composer of Christian songs, Dr. Thomason has been teaching Bible class at Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock for many years. |
